Inter-mine first aid and safety competition is an annual competition originally created by the Ghana Chamber of Mines, the Inspection Division of the Minerals Commission and the St. Petersburg Ambulance. Jeans.

This year's contest attracted Zone II competitors including Goldfields Damang Mines, Adamus Resources, Chirano Mines and the host of Perseus Mines Ghana Limited, whose Health and Safety Department was leading the businesses.

Approved by the Department of Lands and Natural Resources, the Interdepartmental First Aid and Safety Contest brought together the chief mining inspector as well as officers from the Chamber of Mines Inspection Division.

The competition consisted of two sections for each competitor, one for the miners and the other for the community safety brigades, both of which participated in two variants.

The first part consisted of a series on oral first aid and safety, during which participants were asked about their knowledge of first aid tips and advice. The second part saw them providing medical badistance to patients waiting in a series of hypothetical emergencies.

All the participating organizations performed remarkably well, but at the end of the day, Adamus Resources was awarded first place for the miners, but in the last place for the community safety brigades, a feat opposed by Gold Fields. , Damang, who won first place in the standings. Community safety brigades but arrived last for the juvenile segment.

The Perseus mines are in second place, followed by the Chirano mines in third place.
