Senior Pastor of the Evangelical Church of Jesus Christ waiting in Akure, Pastor Adewale Giwa has entrusted the General Supervisor of the Christian Church of Redeemed God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, overseer General of the Church. Church of Living Faith, Bishop David Oyedepo, and other religious leaders to save Nigerians from poverty.

In his message Sunday, while he was celebrating the 17th anniversary of his church in Akure, Ondo State, a portion of which had been pbaded on to DAILY POST, Giwa had specifically invited the church to attend. Bishop Oyedepo and Pastor Adeboye to study the art of teaching Jesus Christ.

He said: "Since our political leaders have dropped the poor, I think it is high time that our religious leaders save Nigerians who are falling into abject poverty.

"We have a duty to support each other. I urge Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo and others to take over from governments and help Nigerians. "In my church today you can discover how we spend offerings and tithes; we are simply giving to the poor.

"You came with nothing and you leave with the same. According to Hebrews 13:16, we must help our neighbors: "Do not neglect to do good and share what you have, because such sacrifices please God," he said.
