Paul McCartney revealed a BTS video for its psychedelic Visual “Find My Way” with Beck. The cinematic piece shows McCartney transported back in time, traversing the labyrinthine hallways of a hotel as a young man. The BTS look offers an intimate look at how the team accomplished the feat of stepping Paul back in time.
The “Find My Way (feat. Beck) ”Was co-produced by Hyperreal Digital, specializing in the creation of hyper-realistic digital avatars. “The technology to age talent and make it perform in creative environments like this is now fully realized, even with one of the most recognized faces in the world,” said Remington Scott, CEO of Hyperreal.
Directed by Andrew Donoho (Janelle Monae, The Strokes, Khalid) and choreographed by Phil Tayag (Bruno Mars, Jabbawockeez), “Find My Way (feat. Beck)” was unveiled to the world via a world premiere broadcast on MTV Live, MTVU and on MTV’s global channel network, as well as on the ViacomCBS Times Square billboard in New York City.
“Find My Way (feat. Beck)” is the opening track from III Imagined, which was released on vinyl, CD and cassette on July 23 through Capitol Records. The album is also available digitally.
The remix album returned to No.1 on Billboard’s Best Selling Albums Chart (dated August 7) for its first week at the top, after releasing to physical formats on July 23.
The album sold 21,000 copies in the United States during the week ending July 29, according to MRC Data, in large part thanks to its release on CD, vinyl and cassette. The album is a collection of remixed songs from McCartney’s latest studio album, released in December 2020 McCartney III, and was originally released via digital download and streaming services on April 16, 2021.
Conceived is the first remix album to reach number 1 since Justin Bieber’s Never say never: remixes spent a week at # 1 on the chart dated March 5, 2011.
