Paul Pogba, from Manchester United, in a bizarre new ad with Adidas

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is the star of a newly released and slightly offbeat Adidas Ultraboost ad.

The winner of the French World Cup, longtime partner of the sports brand, is the main object of the advertising that pbades quickly from an energy bar to a machine.

At first, the short film seems to announce an "octopus energy bar". Pogba begins by saying "It's me, eight weeks ago, I'm a football world champion."

Just a world champion footballer ?!

The unusual advertising then shows how Pogba quickly transformed his life and developed several new talents through the energy bar.

But if you have not already understood that all this is a trick, it quickly becomes more obvious.

The advertisement then quickly changes to show Pogba to put the new coaches released, stating "want real energy?"

Pogba made an international flight with France this week, following Manchester United's loss to the Wolves Cup this weekend.

World Cup holders play two qualifying matches for the European Championship during the international break.

They begin their clash Friday against Moldova before receiving Iceland on Monday.
