The Minister of Public Works and Housing and MP for the Abouakwa-South constituency, Hon Samuel Atta Akyea, has called for the organization of a funeral ritual worthy of a late Dr. Joseph Kwame Kyeretwie Boakye Danquah, 54 years old.

MP John Ntim Fordjour, MP for Assin South, said the contribution of the late JB Danquah to the promotion of education in the country was very remarkable.
In her contribution to the statement, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hajia Alima Mahama, described the late JB Danquah as a dedicated person who has defended, worked and fought in the interest of Ghana and who must therefore to be honored.
