Even before Meghan Markle announced her pregnancy, fans and interviewers were asking intrusive questions about when she and Prince Harry were going to have children. Now that she is pregnant, people do not stop talking about the size of her baby hump.
It seems that the baby bump of the Duchess of Susbad has "officially appeared" and has grown, suggesting that she may have twins or that her delivery date is sooner than expected.

The author and feminist Chimamanda Nogozi Adichie kept her pregnancy for herself in order to avoid such unsolicited attention, only revealing that she was badfeeding in an interview granted in 2016 to the Financial Times.
"I have friends who probably do not know that I was pregnant or that I had a baby," she said. "I just feel that we live in a time when women are supposed to have a pregnancy, and we do not expect fathers to be father."

As public figures, members of the royal family are expected to perform pregnancy and motherhood. Why could Kate Middleton have greeted the photographers outside the hospital just hours after the birth of all her children, damaged hair and heels?
This is not because pregnancy is visible as the game is fair.
Each body carries a baby (or babies) differently. It is therefore impossible to deduce anything from a person's pregnancy simply by looking at it. Some small bumps remain small throughout the process, and some are the size of a watermelon in the first quarter. Some people have found their uterus, so their pregnancy has been delayed and barely visible.
Markle will probably not have to deal with strangers in the supermarket touching his lump without permission, given his royal security details. Yet, the "hump shame" by focusing on her body during pregnancy must stop.
