Premier League champions have booked FA Cup semi-finals with controversial loss to Swansea
Pep Guardiola apologized for Manchester City's booking in the FA Cup semifinal after a controversial loss to Swansea as the VAR was not used during Saturday's match.
City were the beneficiaries of two contentious decisions to defend themselves after a 2-0 defeat after 69 minutes, in order to keep their hopes quadruple.
The Premier League champions were trailing 2-1 after being penalized with a penalty 12 minutes from the end. Raheem Sterling fell to the ground, although Swansea defender Cameron Carter-Vickers appeared to have touched the ball.
Sergio Aguero, substitute, also seemed in an offside position when he won the match two minutes from the winner to complete the return of City.
"You have to ask the authorities why VAR is not here," said city director Guardiola.
"All around, it's here, but here it's not the case.
"If it's not a penalty and he's also offside, I'm sorry. I do not like winning games when decisions are bad. It's not easy. "

Swansea said the club was created to use the VAR, given its history of the Premier League between 2011 and 2018.
But a spokesman for the club said the Football Association had told them that the VAR would not be used at the Liberty Stadium, even though it was active in quarterfinal matches across the country.
"We are in the dark as to the non-use of VAR here and that it would only be used in Premier League stadiums," the spokesman said.
"It sounds a little strange, since we've been here for seven years and all the technology is here to answer it."
The VAR series eclipsed an excellent Swansea game that saw the Graham Potter team take a 2-0 lead at half-time with a penalty from Matt Grimes and a superb shot from former Bersant Celina City.
City had a blistering second half and Bernardo Silva cut the deficit halfway after 69 minutes.

Aguero's penalty hit the post and bounced on goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt for a regrettable goal.
"I do not want to lose anything of the quality of our performances," said manager Potter after the match was spoiled late by a supporter coming from a stand hosting home fans and Jostling City's substitute, Oleksandr Zinchenko.
"We showed a lot of courage, quality and effort and, from our point of view, I thought our players were incredible.
"But that does not make it easy when Aguero and Sterling come in, it makes things harder and in the end we can not hold on.
"The performance was one to be very proud of."
Guardiola said, "You have to congratulate Swansea, it was incredible.
"But we did not give up. We adjusted things and the quality of our players made the difference. "
Guardiola added about the invasion of the field: "It has happened a few times recently and it is a matter of concern because we could have problems in the future.
"It is not good but fortunately nothing has happened this time."
