According to Pep Guardiola, only four Premier League teams have played their natural match against Manchester City this season.
The Premier League champions are gearing up for Newcastle to sit at St James's Park Tuesday night.
Guardiola maintained an opposition that defends deeply to help City and named a quartet that did not change his style in the face of his attack.

"Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea," said Guardiola, patting his nails on the desk while using nearly nine seconds to think of other teams. Everton. Not too much.
City took 10 points in five games, including a slight loss at Stamford Bridge.
"Newcastle really stands up well," added Guardiola. "But at the same time, I think that with this type of defense, we attack better, can control their counter-attacks and concede fewer stopped plays."
"The environment of Newcastle – with the spectators, the stadium – is amazing. They do not need anything special to create a good atmosphere.
"In the last 15 minutes of every game we played, when they were down, they always changed the system and attacked a lot.
"I think my team is a bit more mature in this situation to read what you need to do. We defend a little better, in areas where we have suffered in the past.
Guardiola believes City must win 11 of its last 15 games to retain Premier League title
Guardiola told his players that they will have to win at least 11 of the last 15 games to retain the title.
Leroy Sane, in the crosshairs after two cup matches, said that chasing Liverpool was more entertaining for the players than the gallop of last season.
"It's a little nicer because it motivates you to say that we want to be first, that we can put pressure on them and that it makes you want to work harder," Sane said.
City will be without Vincent Kompany again Tuesday night, the defender suffering from muscle problems, and Guardiola revealed that they needed further discussions to find out if his contract would be extended beyond this campaign.

"The reality is that in the past five years he has played little," he said. "It's the situation we need to put on the table and make the best decision for both. I would like to feel that the club knows that the question of feelings is so important. "
For his part, Schalke is in pole position to win Rabbi Matondo, a teenager – who has not made the slightest appearance in the first team – for more than 10 million pounds.
The city will have recovered about 160 million pounds of sales from players who will go through its system in two years if Matondo was to leave for the Bundesliga.
