Pete Wicks Reveals That He Supports Megan McKenna After the Death of Mike Thalassitis

Pete Wicks explained how he had supported former girlfriend Megan McKenna following the tragic death of Mike Thalbaditis.

Celebs Go Dating, a 30-year-old celebrity with a 26-year-old relationship with Megan, said Mike's death was a "shock" for his family and friends.

While Pete admits that he and Megan were "toxic" as a boyfriend and girlfriend, he made it clear that they were still close and that he will always be there for her if she needed him.

He told the Mirror: "It's an adorable person. I may not be the best boyfriend but I am a good friend. No matter what she needs, I'm here.

Pete and Megan are aged from 2016 to 2017, while Megan later left Mike, 26, for seven months last year.

Mike's body was found in a park in Edmonton, London, on March 15th. Nine months ago, Sophie Gradon, another Love Island star, also committed suicide.

Pete believes that television directors have a duty to provide appropriate follow-up to people participating in reality shows.

He said: "Whether you are on TV or not, every workplace has a duty to ensure that people are well-placed – well-being must be a priority."

The TV star added that anyone considering taking part in a reality show should evaluate the risks in advance.

He said, "What we do is work, people forget it. I think people have to evaluate if they can cope with the pressures that come with it. & # 39;

The producers of Love Island recently issued a statement in which they said they were reviewing their follow-up policy.

They said that they would ensure that candidates receive support before, during and after their participation in the series.

Describing the process, they said, "When it comes time for each Islander to leave the series, our monitoring process comes into play.

"All islanders organized a series of debriefing meetings with the management team and the medical team, including the psychology consultant.

"After that, they are told how to access an aftercare service as well as information on seeking a professional representation.

"They also met the press team the day after they left the villa. They are informed and informed of their coverage by the press when they are in the villa. We have received requests for help from former Islanders and we have provided them.

The bosses then confirmed that they would change their policies so that participants would be better equipped to manage their new fame, including through social media and finance training.

They also explained that it would be mandatory for all former applicants to be contacted regularly to proceed with the registration, whether requested or not.

Jess Shears, who also starred in the series, talked about follow-up in a series of tweets.

After hearing of Mike's pbading, she wrote, "In shock, she had the chance to get to know Mike, he was the most handsome guy. My heart is breaking for his family.
