After five years of countless twists, Jane the Virgin officially ended. It's totally surreal, because it's the kind of show where even if you thought something has been solved, there is always a surprise around the corner. There was a lot of chaos between the dead, the long-lost twins and … the false deaths, but the most unlikely development was perhaps the fact that we all moved away from this show completely obsessed with Petra Solano.
Do you remember Season 1, when we were introduced to Petra? The narrator literally called him "man eater". (By the way, now that we know that Mateo was the narrator from the beginning … that sounds even smug to me than it would normally be.) She was an accomplice and greedy, and every time she appeared to me Screen, you knew that she was going to do it. some serious interference.

As the series continued, we saw Petra go through a lot. Her family drama was always ridiculous and she was dealing with postpartum depression and PTSD. Eventually, these difficult experiences shaped her and she became a sincere and loving character.
The most amazing part of Petra's character development is that she felt realistic. (I mean, for a show that has so many wild twists.) She did not turn into a saint overnight. It took a long time and in the end she always has the same sense of arid and sarcastic humor.
The fans were super excited to see that after all the madness she had to face, she finally had her happy ending with JR.
In fact, Petra's whole history was so kissed by the chief that fans only complain about insufficient content. Since the show is technically Jane the Virgin and not Petra the Badbadshe was not totally focused on her.
Everyone on Twitter seems to be looking for a spin-off on Petra and JR, and honestly … I'd love to see it. Can you imagine how healthy and hilarious a show on these two twins would be? I literally laugh at nothing but think about it.
I understand that a spin-off is in high demand, so if we can not have that … I have a backup request. Can we at least get an official Petra Solano title, or something like that? I will miss seeing his unreal outfits every week. She always looks perfect. The woman literally goes out every day. You must respect this haste.
