State officials claimed that between November 2006 and September 2017, Le had illegally subscribed or dispensed 745,355 prescriptions, many of which had been verified electronically and remotely. More than 100,000 of these prescriptions involved controlled substances such as alprazolam, a sedative used to treat anxiety and panic disorder.
