Philip Hammond: PM can not ignore Parliament during a Brexit without agreement

Chancellor Philip Hammond warned that it would be very difficult for a prime minister who supports a policy of leaving the EU without any agreement to maintain the confidence of the House of Commons.

S addressing the Andrew Marr Show of the BBC, he said: "It is a parliamentary democracy.A Prime Minister who ignores the Parliament can not hope to survive very long."
