Philippe Coutinho leads the set of 11 players for the Barcelona ax in summer revision

Barcelona could sell as many as eleven players this summer to fund the redesign of his team – with Philippe Coutinho among them.

The long-term future of the Brazilian remains uncertain after 18 disappointing months at Camp Nou since his Liverpool move.

A host of clubs have been tipped to make a move for Coutinho, including Manchester United and PSG, while an exchange deal involving Paulo Dybala was discussed earlier this week.

The Barca would be looking for about £ 130m for Coutinho, the 26-year-old's most precious star being designated for an outing.

The winner of the World Cup, Samuel Umtiti, could also leave after falling out of favor, United and Arsenal being tied.

Ivan Rakitic is another big name tipped for the exit while Malcom could head to Italy after a frustrating campaign at Nou Camp, reports ESPN.

Ernesto Valverde would also have given the green light to let Rafinha and substitute goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen go in to reinforce his team.

Barca also hopes to sell some of its players on loan, none having a future with the leaders of La Liga.

Rakitic's time at Camp Nou may soon be over

Denis Suarez has failed to impress Arsenal and, even though it is unlikely that the Gunners will sign it permanently, Europe will spark interest.

Everton wants to engage midfielder Andre Gomes after an impressive loan, while Arda Turan hopes to stay in Turkey.

Other tenants, Douglas and Adria Ortola, would be offered to their loan clubs for permanent transfers before the end of the campaign.

Barcelona has already accepted the transfer of midfielder Ajax Frenkie de Jong while his teammate Matthijs de Ligt and the talisman of Atletico Madrid Antoine Griezmann remain the target.
