Photos: Bawumia and his wife at New Year’s lunch hosted by Ashanti pastors and chiefs

The main religious leaders, chiefs and professionals of the Ashanti region welcomed Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira Bawumia for lunch on New Year’s Day.

This was after the second gentleman and his wife joined a number of congregations in the region to usher in the new year by asking them to continue supporting the government led by Akufo-Addo to continue developing the country.

The lunch was attended by Archbishop Akwasi Sarpong – Archbishop Emeritus of the Kumasi Diocese of the Catholic Church, Archbishop Yinka Sarfo, Archbishop of the Anglican Church, Reverend Prof. Paul Frimpong Manson, general overseer of the Assemblies of God Church.

Others were Manwerehene of Otumfuor, some leaders of the National Cathedral project, leaders of UTAG, leaders of the Ghana Medical Association and Ghana Bar Association, the Vice Chancellor of Universities of the region, and many others.
