White said he installed his photographic equipment at the Cariboo Seventh-day Adventist Church on Woodland Drive.

"After capturing the sunset, I headed for Highway 20 towards Westridge to see if the moon was rising," says White

"It was a little smoked because of the wildfires but I managed to take the moon off my Nikon D500 with my 150-600mm Tamron (lens). "

White said the photo of the blood moo n's rises above the trees and the top of the hill was captured around 8:38 pm. On July 27, he says he used a shutter speed of 1/80 of a second with a diaphragm of 6.3 to 600mm.

As for the moon with the effect of blur, White says that he just amuses himself playing

"I just played with my exposure and I moved the camera or zoom in and out, "he says.
