The national Imam chief, in a symbolic gesture on Easter Sunday, was revered with the congregation of the parish of Christ the King in Accra.

Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu and his delegation were warmly welcomed by the priest priest, Rev. Father Andrew Campbell, with a colorful bouquet before they entered the Church.

Reverend Andrew Campbell described the visit to the church, which is part of the Imam's 100th anniversary celebration, as revealing of peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims.

The visit is a reciprocal gesture aimed at deepening religious tolerance following actions similar to those of the chief imam of Archbishop Palmer-Buckle and Pastor Mensah Otabil.

Reverend Father took the opportunity to warn Christians to speak out against corruption.

He will later join Asantehene and Asanteman for Otumfou Osei Tutu II's 20th anniversary celebrationth anniversary.
