Photos: Kenyan pastor invites "Jesus" to preach in his church

Although most social media users think the crusade took place in South Africa, "Jesus" seems to have been in Kenya.

Photos and videos of an evangelist who walked and danced in the streets of Kiserian, a Kenyan city, put the country on Twitter's list of trends this weekend.

Michael Job spoke loudly after the pictures showed him in the role of James Patrick Caviezel, an American actor who played the character of Jesus Christ in the movie The Pbadion of Christ.

According to his profiles on social media, Job is an actor, evangelist and president of Jesus Loves You Evangelistic Ministries. He stated that he studied a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Vocal Performance at a New York College.

Job was invited, along with several other pastors, to preach at the Kiserian Mega Interdenominational Crusade which took place July 26-28 in Kenya.

During the three-day crusade, he visited schools and distributed food parcels to widows while preaching in the streets.

He also shared images and videos of gospel musicians who participated in the crusade.

Job said on Sunday: "The last night of the crusade in Kiserian was fantastic! The Spirit of God has come upon us all. People gave their lives to Jesus, many people were healed and the Spirit of God came upon us with power during his worship. Thank you, Jesus, for drawing all people to you. Lord, bless abundantly the 30 churches that have combined to witness a mighty harvest at Kiserian in Kenya. More than 300 souls were saved in Kiserian. Alleluia! Thank you Jesus for your incredible grace! "Go and preach the gospel to all creation". Be blessed!"

Job, however, tended on Twitter because he was accused of claiming to be Jesus.

However, the evangelist seems to preach dressed in the manner of Jesus – as he is described in the movies – for years, and does so, according to his pages on social networks, when he plays a room in which he portrays Jesus.

In one of the videos of his plays, he portrays Jesus healing a blind man.

Images and videos circulated on social media, most of them accusing the evangelist of "pretending" to be Jesus.
