Ayawaso West, newly elected legislator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Wuogon donated 5,000 ¢ to offset the hospital bills of some of the victims of last Thursday's by-election shootings.
Lydia Seyram Alhasan, who was at the 37 Military Hospital to visit the victims, said that the incident was unfortunate.
She was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Enam Hadzide, and the NPP youth organizer, Sammy Awuku, and other party members.
