Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has let slip a major suspicion that he remains attached to Arsenal amid speculation linking him to a lucrative transfer from the Chinese Super League.
Arsenal's failure to qualify for the Champions League after Shambolic's defeat against Chelsea last week has had a significant impact on Unai Emery's transfer budget for the summer.
The Spaniard is armed with a meager budget of £ 40 million, but this could be considerably improved if he found buyers for some of the club's most marketable products.
Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shkodran Mustafi were all deemed surplus, while Aubameyang would comfortably claim a commission in the region of 56 million pounds paid by Arsenal for signing at Borussia Dortmund 18 months ago.

The Gabonese international would have been offered a contract worth £ 300,000 per week by an unidentified Chinese club and would have triggered panic among fans of the club after erasing his profile photo and any mention of Arsenal on his Instagram account on Wednesday.
Some Arsenal fans were planning to increase Emery's chests by selling Aubameyang, which could be a bargain, especially considering the outstanding contribution of Alexandre Lacazette last season, but that does not seem to be shared by the winner of the Premier League, Golden Boot, judging by his Twitter Activity after having liked a ticket comparing him to Thierry Henry.
Aubameyang scored 22 goals last season as he finished an impressive individual campaign as the division's main scorer alongside Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Overall, the former Saint-Etienne has scored 41 goals in 65 caps in all competitions for Arsenal and he has two years left for his current contract, which would include a £ 3.75 million loyalty bonus for each past season at Emirates.
