The IPO of Pinterest also revealed the profile of its average user, a profile that the company will have to develop in its quest for continued growth. Pinterest is one of many technology companies to have gone public this year. Zoom videoconferencing filed its own prospectus on March 22, and Lyft filed earlier this month. Other planned projects in 2019 include Slack, Robinhood, Airbnb, Cloudflare, Instacart, Uber and WeWork.
