Papua New Guinea's Minister of Health Sir Puka Temu admitted that there were problems with the country's drug supply system.

For months, there have been complaints of drug shortages in PNG hospitals and clinics and Sir Puka has repeatedly denied that there are any.
But the Postal mail Sir Puka said that he had asked the Department of Health to improve the management of his drug stocks this year.
He said the department is changing the way it procures, distributes and distributes drugs to health facilities.
