Mauricio Pochettino insists that he would be delighted to visit the new Tottenham stadium for the final Premier League game of the season, even though the title was at stake.
The Spurs boss revealed on Friday that he felt it would be difficult for the club to leave Wembley before the end of the campaign, after their March 2 derby with Arsenal is the final match to be confirmed at national stage.
Tottenham was originally scheduled to relocate to its new 62,000-seat home, White Hart Lane, for the start of the season.
The move has been postponed many times and now, with the Gunners match confirmed at Wembley, there are only five home games left.
The Spurs have handled uncertainty well and, just five points behind the Premier League, are still vying to be crowned champions for the first time since 1961.
Pochettino has long insisted that he wanted to move as soon as possible and revealed Friday that he would be happy to see Everton face, in their last game of the season, to their new home, as the title to be decided or not.
When asked if he still hoped to move before the end of the season, the Argentine said: "My instinct (that's it), it will be hard, but I hope and I want to play in the new stadium .
"I do not want to think too much. My wish is to play in the new stadium before the end of the season. We'll see what happens.
"I feel like it will be difficult, but my wish, my hope and my dream is to finish this season in the new stadium.
"We'll see if you can trust my instinct or the ability to finish the stage before the end of the season.
"Of course, people will be disappointed to play at Wembley, not because they do not like Wembley – we all love Wembley – but because we hope to play in our new stadium already.
"That's why it will be mbadive to play the last five Premier League matches in our new stadium, and I hope that will happen.I think it can be very positive to move into the new stadium. "
Pochettino would be delighted to be able to play the last game of the season against Tottenham, who would open the way to his new field if the title was up for grabs.
"I will move. I would take the risk and move. I'm brave (win or lose the title) but at home, "he said.
