Patience Anane, a 20-year-old senior caretaker, was arrested by police in Kwame Danso, in the Brong Ahafo area, for having run away from Kumasi with a six-month-old baby who was badigned to her.

On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at around 10 am, the baby's mother, Abena Kubilla, left her six-month-old baby under Patience's supervision at the Kwame Antwi parking station, near the racecourse, to go and wash. the baby clothes.

Upon his return, the baby and Patience were not found. As a result, she filed a complaint with the Suame District Police.

"

According to him, Kwame Danso police also handed over the suspect with the baby to the police command of Suame district.

He added that the baby had since been handed over to the mother while Patience Anane, the alleged thief, was under police custody while awaiting further investigation and prosecution.

Ahianyo expressed the command's thanks to the Kronihene of Kwadwo Bofour, a suburb of Yeji, and to the Bantama congressman for helping the police arrest the suspect.
