A 24-year-old man is in the hands of the police for allegedly entering the building housing the main branch of GCB Bank in Sunyani to steal 40,000 ¢.
Enoch Aboagye entered the building through the ceiling at 13:40. last Tuesday and done with money.
However, he was approached by a security officer, Moses Adjei, who saw him trying to jump from the ceiling of the ATM room of the bank.
The suspect allegedly stole money from the ATM because there was no activity in the lobby of the bank, currently under renovation.

Chief Inspector Augustine Kinsley Oppong, public relations officer for Bono East Regional Police and Ahafo Regional Police, said the director of the bank's branch, Mr. Ibrahim Seidu, had reported the incident to his team.
He added that during the suspect's search, the 00040,000 suspected of being stolen from the bank was found.
According to him, the suspect could have accessed the bank from the ceiling because the facility was being renovated, after which the bank had transferred its operations to a temporary structure.
Mr. Oppong said that the suspect, who was in custody, participated in the investigations.
