Tamale, August 2, GNA – The police in the
The Northern Region announced that it had recovered people from
interest in the murder of the late Corporal Agatha Nana Nabin.
The suspects were arrested in Tamale for
badist investigations and one of them (undisclosed name) suffered injuries in
the course of arrest and currently on admission in custody responding to
treatment.
This was in a press release
issued Friday in Tamale by the police command of the region, signed by the vice president
Director of Police (DSP) Mr. Mohammed Yusif Tanko, his public relations

It will be remembered that on July 30, 2019,
around 22:45 GMT, a group of four armed robbers attacked a police checkpoint
on the Tamale – Kumbungu road killing a policeman and blocking with two others
firearms owned by the police.
The incident occurred in Malshegu in the
Municipality of Sagnarigu.
Three members of the police were checking
and signaled to a sedan to stop, and the occupants got out of the car
and began shooting at police personnel.
The statement indicated that the investigations were
ongoing to try to establish the involvement of suspects or otherwise in the process of
badbadination of the late corporal.

voluntary information that could lead to the arrest of suspects, adding,
