Police investigate a shooting and homicide of two people in Maple Heights

MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio – Two people died as a result of a morning shootout at a Maple Heights home, authorities confirmed.

At approximately 12:24 pm, the Maple Heights police responded to the 18000 block of Raymond Street after a miner inside the house called after gunfire.

Inside the house, the police found Mahogany Sudberry, 38, lying on the floor. Another person, Robert Williams, 43, was in the basement with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital and declared dead.

The juvenile appeal was not hurt, the authorities said.
