Police are investigating a "suspicious" fire that erupted in Oritse Williams' mansion – a week after he was whitened by a fan.

The property of 3 million pounds sterling, owned by the singer "The Club is Alive", was badly damaged during the two-and-a-half-hour fire, treated by the police as a potential arsonist.

Ten fire trucks and 70 firefighters gathered in front of the fire of the "abandoned property" in Croydon, South London, yesterday (Tuesday).

Oritse seems to have left the property, which was in poor condition before the fire, but she was once home to comedian Ronnie Corbett.
