Police confirmed that the incident that happened last Saturday was the result of intelligence obtained by the command where the ESN boys gathered in the Amaifeke Valley, in the local government area of Orlu, in Imo State, and were planning to launch an attack on the police. trainings in the state.
It was when officers took action to apprehend the boys in the Amaifeke Valley that the shooting started and in the process three of the ESN boys were shot dead.
