A policeman was arrested by the Kintampo Divisional Police Command for allegedly stealing a motorcycle and other items belonging to the Ghana Police Service.

A search was carried out at his home in Kintampo by the divisional crime officer, DSP Edmund Agyemang Badu, as well as other groups of investigators.

The suspect admitted to owning the substance believed to be Indian hemp and the other items.
He confessed that “he smoked Indian hemp, so the dried plant material was what he bought to smoke.”
However, he failed to disclose his source of supply, nor did he produce legal written permission to possess it.
