According to the family of Marian Dzovakpor, a student at Sunrise High School, she reportedly disappeared on Monday by paying tuition fees to the bank.
Beatrice Dzovakpor, the actress, told the incident to Joy News. All efforts to reach her have been in vain until the kidnappers start sending pictures of her asking for a ransom.
"She said that she wanted to cut her hair before back to school, once she finished at the bank, so I gave her the money. Two hours later, I tried to join her but the phone was ringing without anyone answering.
"My sister called from the bank to tell me that she had not gone to the bank, so I was curious. I concluded that the money was missing and that she was in town looking for our driver to get some money, "she said.
According to her, they began to worry and rushed to her school to see if she had gone, but she was nowhere to be found.
Ms. Dzovakpor said on her way to the police station that the photos of the suspected kidnappers had started pouring into her phone with the ransom demand.
"They said that I should not worry and that she was safe and that I had to cooperate with them so that they would not hurt her." I panicked because I thought they were going to kill her, but I still complained to the police, "she said.
The kidnappers used Marian's phone to ask her aunt to ask for a ransom.
Things were going badly and they had to look for the places where the kidnappers were hiding it, but in vain.
"This morning [Wednesday] One of my cousins called Aflao and told me that he had seen her walking with someone. He immediately sounded the alarm and he was arrested and taken to Ho, "she said.
Since returning home, Marian has been sent to the hospital for a medical visit and a statement has been collected by the police.
Ms. Dzovakpor testified that Marian told her how she had been forcibly given a drink, that she had been dazed and that her captors had blindfolded her.
