During the process, the three occupants climbed a fence wall at the back and escaped, but while the police were still on the scene, the kidnapped victim emerged from one of the rooms where he had been taken hostage and reported his ordeal.
The police discovered that the car used in the kidnapping was parked in the compound and that the search in the car had uncovered a brand new Retay pistol loaded with 5 ammunition cartridges of 7.65 mm and 2 axes.
A Honda motorcycle bearing registration number M-19-GR 507 was also found in the said house.
