Ghana's police service has condemned the actions of New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP Kennedy Agyapong, who recently threatened a police commander.
The deputy of Assin Central was in the news after clashing with the commander of the Central Regional Police at a rally of students from the University of L 'Assin Central. Winneba education.
The legislator, known for his outspokenness and his confrontational nature, was involved in a heated exchange with a police chief.

In a 20-second video that went viral on social media, the maverick MP is confronted with the agent while threatening him.
Mr. Agyapong reportedly threatened the officer to ensure that he would be removed from the police department.
However, a statement by the Police Administration condemned the actions of the legislator against the police commander.
According to the statement, Mr. Agyapong has no authority to dismiss a police officer fulfilling his legal obligations.

"The police administration therefore makes a strong exception to the behavior of Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament, and advises him to keep in mind his actions towards the police in the exercise of their legal duties, "Reads the statement.
He added: "In the meantime, the Police Administration wishes to badure once again that all police officers will support them at all times, provided that their conduct is professional and legal."
