Ghana's police will soon deploy regional commanders to the six newly created regions, Inspector General of Police David Asante-Apeatu said.
According to him, the new regional commanders have been selected and will soon be transferred to the new regions to ensure that the regions benefit from a strong security platform.
Speaking at the annual end-of-year meeting of the West African Security Services Association (WASSA) of the Ghana Police Service, the Friday, March 22, the IGP said that it was to ensure the security of political arrivals maintaining order at the doors of the ordinary Ghanaian.
