Legendary actor Kanayo O. Kanayo, known in real life as Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, was called to the bar as an attorney and prosecutor at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
In various posts on his social media page, members of his community, Nru Umueze Oboama, were seen celebrating him.
The celebration was intended to pay tribute to the professional lawyer and to share his enthusiasm for finding a first lawyer in the region.
Members gave him gifts ranging from crates of drinks to poultry.
He also shared videos of the rally on his social media pages.
In a subsequent post, Kanayo O. Kanayo said they came to see if what he posted on social media that he was called to ban was true.
The movie star said he allayed their doubts and he also urged them to be on the right side of the law.
He also said he would do his best to provide them with legal services.
“They came to find out if what they saw on social media on September 15 was true, that their son had been called to the bar. I confirmed them and urged them to always be on the right side of the law. I will do my best to provide legal services. (1) if you are sleeping with someone’s wife, DON’T CALL ME (2) If you defraud someone, DON’T CALL ME, ”Kanayo wrote.
The actor finally expressed his gratitude to God in another post on social media.
