The popular Go Ahead cookie products had to recall a lot of this product because of allergy fears.

The cookie company had to recall its Nutty Crunch Hazelnut bars because they contain undeclared peanuts.

This could be very risky for anyone with an allergy or peanut intolerance.

This product recall has been posted on the website of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.

The notice on the website said: "United Biscuits remembers, go for it! Hazelnut hazelnut crunch (6 bars) as some packages may contain peanuts, which are not declared as an ingredient on the label.

"This means that the product poses a potential health risk to anyone who is allergic to peanuts."

This product recall is only for six-bar packages with the expiry date of October 1, 2019.

Customers were advised to exercise the utmost caution and return the product to the store where they purchased it for a full return if they have the product.
