QPR favorite Kevin Gallen opened on Steve McClaren's sacking, saying he was not surprised after a string of bad results.
The former English manager only lasted 11 months after replacing Ian Holloway as manager of the London West club.
But after a series of bad results – most recently the 2-1 defeat of the Bolton Wanderers – it was decided to send McClaren back to prepare for next season.
Regarding this decision, Gallen told Sky Sports: "I think it was going to happen, of course, if you only win one game out of 15, it's hard to stay in and, as we all know, , football is a matter of results.
"I was at the game on Saturday and it was a really mediocre performance against Bolton who did not win for a long time, who was not paid and who was expensive and a mediocre result which cost employment.
"It's actually quite strange because we were in 8th place around Boxing Day and all the fans felt the need to be pushed to play-offs and that QPR could have been the first to sneak in, but for some reason, it went terribly wrong.
"We lose a few games and we feel confident, it's an obvious thing to say, but do not score enough goals and do not have enough clean sheets."
"It's a bad result after another and if you remember the game against Leeds where we won 1-0, if you were a fan of Leeds, you'd come out thinking" how did we lose 1-0 ? "poor since the beginning of the year".
He added, "I think the waiting is pretty big at QPR with the fans.
"With the money that the club has spent, the fans are entitled to expect. At the beginning of this season, we have recruited four players with a big win.
"When you make a lot of money, pay big salaries, and pay a lot of money in the last four or five years, everybody is expecting more and that is not going to happen. is not produced. "
When asked who should replace McClaren, Galle replied, "It's about who is available.
"Tim Sherwood is the bookmaker's favorite and favorite and although he did not have the best time at Aston Villa, he recruited some very successful young players in Tottenham.
"With the financial problems of QPR and FFP for next season, they need someone who will have a reduced budget and will work under duress, will try to bring in young players and will try to borrow them from a club." Premier League to give them luck.
"Tim Sherwood, I said that when Chris Ramsey was sacked in 2015 and I told Kenny Jackett at the time.
"We used Jimmy Floyd Hbadelbaink and it did not work out, but Kenny Jackett is out of sight and he got a great result (against Sunderland) but I always thought Kenny would be perfect for QPR, but I think that he will be available because of what he did in Portsmouth.
"Sherwood is the favorite, so let's see what happens."
