Chief Mbazulike Amaechi, Prime Minister of the Republic, said that President Muhammadu Buhari did not understand the language of democracy.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, has repeatedly said he has made it clear that he will restructure the unbalanced federation.

He therefore called on the Igbo electorate to vote for Atiku and his second, Peter Obi, to put Nigeria back on the road to progress.

Amaechi spoke Tuesday to reporters in his home country in Ukpor, in the local government area of Nnewi South, in the state of Anambra.

He said: "As the newest nationalist, Minister of Defense of Freedom and Minister of the First Republic still alive, I feel obliged to say something and warn those who might plow to plunge the country. in a major crisis that could threaten the very foundation of our federation.

"Nigerians must prepare and defend democracy and the federation itself. There is a serious danger ahead. Those who destroyed democracy in 1983 are again depriving the people of their fundamental rights.

"They do not understand the language of democracy. From what they do to the justice and the legislature, one can imagine what will happen if, for any mistake, they are referred to Aso Rock.

"I call on the international community to help and expose the evil plans of a cabal that wants to perpetuate itself in power even if it loses the elections.

"They have been severely marginalized, exploited, deprived of their rights in a federation for which they have played a major role in creation.

"Atiku also took our own Peter Obi as his vice-presidential candidate. I'm calling Ndigbo, at his home and all over Nigeria, to run out and vote for Akiku / Obi's candidacy for president.

"I speak in the minds of great nationalists such as Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello, Abubaker Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo, Dennis Osadebay, Aminu Kano, MI Okpara, Maitama Sule, SL Akintola, Herbert Macaulay, Festus Okotie-Eboh, Nwafor Orizu, Joseph Tarka, Eyo Ita, Odeleye Fedahunsi, Muhammadu Ribadu, Zanna Bukar Dipchadima, Kola Balogun, Margret Ekpo, Funmilo Ransome-Kuti Umoru Altune, Bisi Onabanjo and others who were silenced to implore voters Nigerians to vote in power, the rare gift of the Atiku / Obi presidency so that brotherly love and unity return to a democratic and united Nigeria.

"In other elections, they can vote for their party or their conscience. Ndigbo should not disturb a small group of mercenaries and Judases who went to the Wuse market in Abuja, bought Red Caps, adorned the caps and were taken to Aso Rock, told nonsense, received handfuls of greasy hand and smiled shyly. They represent only their perfidious.

On the call for boycott of elections by the indigenous peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Amaechi added: "As a political father in Nigeria and Igboland, I had appealed to young people of IPOB, in the interest of Igboland, for that they do not pursue their electoral boycott. program. It's counterproductive and suicidal.

"I'm calling on the government to outlaw IPOB. It is a primitive injustice to let armed Fulani herdsmen and their jungle comrades in Zamfara State and kill the youth of the IPOB because they are Igbo. "
