President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo Dankwa
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said his government would be able to facilitate the development of the new regions.
The President re-affirmed that development would not be in the region, but would be spread across the regions.
Speaking at an inter-denomination church service organized by the Atebubu local council of churches to welcome him as part of his working day to visit the Bono-East Region, President Akufo-Addo achieve their mandate of pushing forward development.
Nana Akufo-Addo said it was the priority of his government to ensure equitable distribution of infrastructure in the new regions and directed the new Regional Coordinating Councils to work towards that direction.
The President later paid a courtesy on Pemampem Yaw Kagbrese IV, the Paramount Chief of Yeji Traditional Council.
He is also pleased to be the president of the Brong-Ahafo Regional Council of Chiefs, who is also the President of the Brong-Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs appealing to him in that direction.
