President Akufo-Addo with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg
President Akufo-Addo has introduced measures to make Accra the cleanest city in Africa.
This involves raising awareness among Ghanaians about what needs to be done to maintain the cleanliness of Metropolis, to place liter tanks in the capital and to improve, among other things, the collection of waste.
Speaking at a joint press conference at the Jubilee House with visiting Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, President Akufo-Addo said his government would adopt best practices elsewhere to achieve that dream.
The Norwegian Prime Minister, who is also co-chair of the imminent group of supporters of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, Erna Solberg, acknowledged that all 17 sustainable development goals could not be achieved by the 2020 deadline.
