President Akufo-Addo promised what he called a dramatic and welcome change in Ghana's infrastructure development.

He announced his promise as his administration announced a mbadive € 47 million loan signed by the governments of Ghana and the Czech Republic for the construction of 50 steel bridges in the 16 regions of Ghana.
He insisted that "Ghana will witness a dramatic and very welcome change in our infrastructure, especially in the roads sector".
According to the President, "each of the sixteen (16) regions should benefit from the Sinohydro Arrangement, with hospital projects, the extension of electricity in rural communities and the construction of courts and residential buildings for the judicial service, landfills and industrial parks to undertake. "
He noted that "Tamale Interchange is the first exchange in the northern sector of our country."
