President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will, on April 21, 2019, the special honorary guest of "Akwasidae Kese", one of the key activities marking Otumfuo Osei-Tutu, the twentieth anniversary of the rise of Asantehene.

Mr. Kofi Badu, Asantehene's Chief of Staff, at a press conference held on Sunday at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, announced that various activities including: football matches, an international investor forum and a host of Other social and traditional events would begin on Wednesday, March 27, and end on May 12, with a golf tournament.

On Wednesday, March 27, Otumfuo will begin the program itself with the performance of the Atano rites, which will be followed by traditional representations of the Atano priests at the Manhyia Palace.
