Tia East MP Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover
Titus Glover predicted that the 2020 presidential election had already been lost by former president John Dramani Mahama.
In an exclusive interview in Accra, he said that the run-up to the 2020 elections was similar to the one that preceded the 2016 elections, which the former president had lost with nearly a million votes.
"Just like before 2016, international research and survey organizations such as the Economia Intelligence Unit (EIU) predicted the victory of President Akufo-Addo. We all know what even the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana has also predicted.
"These predictions are not meaningless, but what Mr. Mahama should be even more worried about is the fact that this time, even Pollsters like Ben Ephson, who predicted him as the winner in 2016, do not predict it anymore, "said Titus. Glover said.
The man who is also the acting deputy of Tema East has added with badurance: "In 2020, Nana Addo will bad Mahama during the elections to cry. Mahama made a mistake by agreeing to come back. He should have left when the applause was still strong.
The Deputy Minister of Transport presented his comments, while giving his opinion on the process for the election of candidates for Parliament for the 2020 general election of the NLC.
According to him, there was clear evidence of the lack of interest shown in the CND ticket for Parliament, compared to what happened in 2015 when people were jumping over each other to pick up forms.
He said the lack of interest was due to the fact that the NDC had become less attractive.
"Recently, we all read the news that even former appointed members of Mahama refused to pledge and pay money for the Mahama campaign … people do not believe in his candidacy (of the former president), "said Titus Glover.
On the other hand, he pointed out that President Akufo-Addo had become the toast of most Ghanaians because of the quality policy that he implements.
"Free SHS alone, will easily deliver 2020 to President Akufo-Addo. But of course, Free SHS is just one of the many good policies; Plant for food and create jobs, NABCO, allowances for teachers and trainees in nursing, a district, a factory, a village, a dam … just name them. "
Titus Glover pointed out that President Akufo-Addo had also accomplished in less than three years what Mahama could not do for eight years as vice president and president of Mahama's Northern region.
"First, President Akufo-Addo restored peace in Dagbon, and Mahama himself was present at the inauguration of the new Ya-Na.
Secondly, the visionary Akufo-Addo also created the Savannah region. Who, in its right sense, would abandon Akufo-Addo for Mahama?
