President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo called on Ghanaians to reflect on the extraordinary sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross of Calvary and to work diligently for the well-being of the nation.

In a message announcing Easter activities, the president said the season was a good opportunity to reflect on Jesus' sacrifice for the sake of humanity and for the hope that it brings us.

President Akufo-Addo said that the sacrifices made by the nation and the Ghanaians over the past two years "are starting to bear fruit and put the nation on the right track".

"This year, our country is expected to have the fastest economy in the world and we are the largest recipient of foreign direct investment in West Africa.

"All our young children are guaranteed a minimum of secondary education, we have an abundance of food and, for the first time in a long time, we export food to our neighbors," he said.

The President added: "Import duties and utility tariffs have been significantly reduced in order to relieve businesses and individuals.Thousands and thousands of graduate teachers and nurses who , before I took office, sat at home and started to work thumbs.

"We have put 100,000 people under NABCO and hundreds of thousands of young men and women are gainfully engaged in various modules of the Youth Employment Agency." The technology giant, Google, has created its first African laboratory of Artificial Intelligence in Ghana, the global industrial giants are preparing to make important investments in our country, we are progressing regularly in the implementation of our policy "One District, factory"
