Clement Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South
Builsa South MP Clement Apaak said the security situation in the country is so porous.
The legislator described the situation as worrying and cited as an example the abduction of seven girls in Takoradi to strengthen his position.
He therefore called on President Akufo-Addo to address the nation in order to ensure the government's commitment to stabilizing the porous security situation.
"In fact, it is your ultimate responsibility, Prez NADAA, to ensure the safety of all Ghanaians. Given all the security problems we face in Ghana today, is it not disappointing that you did not understand the need to address the nation? to rebadure us and explain what you are going to do or what you are doing to make sure we are safe? "
Mr Apaak said that, as the President felt that it was necessary to address the nation as a result of the hubbub surrounding the Ghana-United States military pact agreement he also had to address the nation about the "porous security situation".

Mr. Chairman, the security situation in Ghana is very porous. Seven girls abducted in Sekondi / Takoradi, the oil city, between August 2018 and today?
Very sad and disturbing. This is not only shocking but amazing! Clearly, this is another example of the porous security situation we are talking about in Ghana today.
In fact, you have the ultimate responsibility, Prez NADAA, to ensure that every Ghanian is safe. Given all the security problems we face in Ghana today, is it not disappointing that you did not understand the need to address the nation? to rebadure us and explain what you are going to do or what you are doing to make sure we are safe?
Mr President, you have seen the need to address the country in the wake of disagreements over US-Ghana military cooperation. Why then do you keep quiet about security issues that weaken Ghanaians?
Mr. President, I remain a citizen, it rains or it sells!
Dr. Apaak
Mr. P. Builsa South
