The total number of employees at government headquarters as of December 31, 2018 sits at 957, according to the annual report on the office staff of the presidency presented to Parliament.
The report was submitted to the House in accordance with Article 11 of the 1993 Presidential Act.
The last figure is a reduction from the 998 that had been reported to Parliament for the year 2017.
The list sets at 10 the number of ministers of state for the presidency, 28 presidential staff and 254 other appointees to the political clbad.
The total number of public service and public sector employees at the presidency stands at 665.

The 2017 figures, which stood at 998, sparked criticism of the Akufo-Addo administration's commitment to exercise caution and protect public funds.
