Former Black Stars video badyst Gerard Nus asked the team's management to draw lessons from previous AFCON campaigns if the Stars succeed in Egypt this year.

Ghana hopes to end its 39-year wait for a CAN title. The tournament in Egypt offers another chance to do it.

All lessons should guide them to help them set up new things. There is a new technical staff and new players and it is therefore necessary to take advantage of all the experiences of those who participated in CAN tournaments and add new perspectives.

The Black Stars will enter their camp ahead of the tournament in Abu Dhabi on June 1st. The head coach Kwesi Appiah will choose 23 players from the 29 that he has named in the provisional tournament team.
