Damongo police in the West Gonja district of the Savannah area arrested a 14-year-old elementary 5-year-old student who had shot a gun at his head at St. Anne's Elementary School.

The suspect identified as Amadu Bashiru threatened to kill other teachers with the weapon. An official complaint was therefore lodged at the police station by the school director who led to his arrest.

A school teacher told Nkilgi Fm, of Bole, that the student had a misunderstanding with other students who were all punished by the headmaster of the school. ;school.

The next morning, Little Bashiru's comrades informed the school headmaster that he was brandishing a locally made gun after being punished for threatening to kill one of the teachers. of the school that would try a second time to hit him.

The director of the school, Mr. Amos Akuro, quickly went to the Damongo police station to file a formal complaint.

He was subsequently arrested and, during the search of his home, the pistol he had brandished a few hours earlier was found.

Damongo police are currently investigating the issue in order to understand how the suspect discovered the weapon, since he does not have the authorization to possess it.
