Prince William has said his family is not racist and has yet to speak to his brother since Harry and Meghan’s explosive interview.
“We’re really not a racist family,” he said after questioning Sky News.
And when asked if he had already spoken to his brother, the Duke of Cambridge replied: “I haven’t spoken to him yet but I plan to do so.”

The Sussexes made a series of shocking allegations about their time as royals during the two-hour interview with Oprah Winfey which aired in the UK on Monday evening.
These included allegations of racism in the palace and that the couple did not feel supported by the Royal family.
Buckingham Palace posted a rare statement in response promising to “respond” to the “worrying” allegations, in particular, another royal had raised “concerns” with Harry about Archie’s skin color before he was born.

Prince William, who spoke on a visit with the Duchess of Cambridge at a school in Stratford, east London, is the first royal to publicly comment on the allegations.
The Sussexes also commented on William and Kate during the Winfrey chat, which was watched on ITV by over 11 million viewers.
Prince Harry told Oprah her brother and father were ‘trapped’ as members of the royal family as Meghan spoke about reports she made Kate cry ahead of the royal wedding.
Meghan says the “setback” happened and it was Kate who made him cry.

She told Winfrey that she didn’t want to “denigrate anyone” and claimed that Kate “owned her” and apologized with flowers and a note “to take responsibility for it”.
Prince Harry also referred to reports that his relationship with his brother is strained.
“The relationship is space at the moment. And time heals everything, hopefully,” he told Winfrey.
Prince charles remained silent in his first public engagements since Oprah’s revelations on Tuesday.
During the interview, Harry said he felt “really disappointed” when he revealed that his father stopped taking his calls around the time the couple moved to Canada.
“I feel really disappointed because he’s been through something similar, he knows what the pain is like, [and] Archie is his grandson, ”he says.
“But at the same time – I will always love her – but there has been a lot of trouble and I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try to heal this relationship.”

There has been a lot of speculation about the royals the couple accused of making comments about Archie’s complexion.
During the interview, the couple were not convinced who had deeply offended them, but then asked Winfrey to clarify that it was not the Queen or Prince Phillip.
Meanwhile, Jacob Rees-Mogg read the national anthem when pressed to allow MPs to debate the role of the monarchy.
Conservative MP Sir David Amess said he would argue that “it is never wise for a family dispute to be publicized”.
To which the Leader of the House of Commons said any debate to praise the Queen would take several hours of parliamentary time, before embarking on her oral translation of the anthem.
