Professor Abeiku Blankson to speak at GIJ Faculty Research Seminar

Professor Isaac Abeiku Blanksom, current Acting President of Ghana Technology University College, will speak at a faculty research seminar for GIJ staff on the topic “Formulating Research Topics and Problematizing Communication Research “.

The seminar is organized by the Institute’s Research, Innovation and Development Department (DRID).

This seminar is part of the institute’s renewed efforts to improve the research capacity of teachers as part of a larger initiative known as the “Research Paper Series”.

Director of Research at GIJ, Dr Etse Sikanku said the institute is keen to encourage and equip teachers with the skills and knowledge to enable them to conduct cutting-edge research.

“Our goal is to revive and deepen the research culture at the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Such a session will go a long way in igniting research interests and laying the groundwork for future research ”

Several subjects and guests have been lined up to participate in the “Writing Scholarly Articles” series.
