Prophets Must Confirm With God What They See or Hear Before Making Public Statements

Cape Coast, January 3, 2021, Founder and Head of the House of Prayer for the Family of All Countries Prophet Dr Nana Yaw Blessing urged colleagues who are prophets to check with God before making public statements about anything they claim to do have seen or learned from God.

“When a prophet sees or hears something from God, he should check for confirmation before making any statements about it,” he said. “Sometimes you can be deceived by the devil if you don’t seek confirmation from God.”

The HOPFAM frontman was speaking on DC’s “ About Life ” Kwame Kwakye, the popular religious, cultural and spiritual program on GBC Radio Central today, January 3, 2021.

When asked what God told him regarding 2021, Prophet Blessing said: “I went to wait for the Lord, He spoke to me but I have not yet received confirmation and because of this I can not any public statement on what has been revealed to me “.

According to him, he will come and say everything that God has revealed to him regarding 2021 after receiving confirmation from God.

When asked why is this? The man of God said, “It was the right thing to do.” “You see something or hear something, but you have to confirm with God before you can talk about it.” “Confirmation can be twice and that would encourage you to speak up,” he rejoices.

Going deeper into prophecy, he said that there are three ways for a prophet to receive information from God;

1. Dreams,
2. Visions
3. Prophecies.

But, what is really happening is that some people put the three together and call it Prophecy, which he says is not right.

Explaining further, he said, “If I am sleeping and dreaming that someone is making money, all I have to do is call the person and talk to them.” But he was quick to add that “I cannot call the person and tell you that I prophesy to you that you will make money”. “It’s not a prophecy,” he postulated.

In conclusion, said the leader of HOPFAM, all prophets should seek confirmation of what they hear or see before speaking publicly. “Sometimes all the things we hear may not be from God, if it is from God then He will give you one or two confirmations on Prophecy.

He continued because it is not done, some prophets rush to prophecy without seeking confirmation and their prophecies fail, therefore, they are called false prophets.
